Our process begins with the development of precise full-scale drawings and plans, from
original drawings, photographs, or sometimes the actual sample to be replicated. The wood for the project is individually chosen for that project, and matched for grain, color, and beauty. Joinery is a mixture of historic and modern, according to use. Drawers are assembled using dovetail construction where accurate to the period. Our preferred finish is multiple coats of hand-rubbed natural oil, but other stains and finishes are also available to match existing decor and maximize utility.
